SwyxShot is designed for people and organizations that use Swyx Phone or Swyx Fax in their work. It’s main purpose is providing you with the complete information on the Swyx Server in the form of reports. User-friendly and intuitive interface makes your work with the program comfortable and time-saving.

The information is provided in every detail without missing a single item – from hardware and system drivers installed, to registered Swyx users. Though huge in volume the information is organized in compact groups to improve the usability and self-descriptiveness.

The reports are very well thought-out – the data is organized into logical groups and subgroups (like Gateways, Server details, Swyx server configuration, Users groups and Users, etc.), which makes searching for the necessary piece of data very simple. There are several ways the reports can be handled: save them as a .xml file or web page, send via e-mail or print. The reports are also classified on the basis of company name and date of creation, which positively tells upon the usability of the application.

One of the main features of the application is comparing reports with one another. One can either compare whole reports or only separate parts and see what changes have been made to the Swyx Server. The advantage of the compare system is that it shows only the data that are different in the compared reports and omitting the one that are the same. In this way it is easy to find out what changes have been made to the Swyx Server configuration.

The application consists of two separate but mutually complementary modules: SwyxShot and SwyxShot Server. The first component is self-efficient if installed on the computer with the Swyx Server. The second component provides remote access of SwyxShot to the Swyx Server, so that full functionality is available from remote computers. It can also generate reports and send them via e-mail.
Security module partially or completely restricts unauthorized users from working with the application.

The program supports 2 languages – English and German that can be changed from within the program at any moment without the necessity to restart the application.
